Hi

I am in bangalore and has DishTV however i have realized that in the past few months when the rains are coming down really hard, the signal goes down 30sec before the rain is going to fall till the time it abates.

i.e. if the rains continues unabated for 30 min there is literally no signal for full 29 minutes.. i have checked the STB info and shows signal strength 0 % signal quality 0%.

Tried calling them but is not helping as they say it is not a normal behavior, i have chekd with other DishTV subscribers here and they say they have the same problem.

Please let me know if you have a solution nad is this something peculiar to DishTV or to other DTH operators also
