IDEA 3G compatible???

Idea's 3G compatible network supports General Packet Radio Service (GPRS), which .................

what does it means.Is IDEA delhi 3G compatible.After getting spectrum they can immediately start 3G services......

OR THEY ARE TELLING "EDGE" AS 3G NETWORK..
