One of my friends in Nasik is trying to set up a Belking 4 port wireless router with her Hathway connection to connect up her two computers at home and I am trying to help her out from Bangalore.

Can someone give me details about the Hathway connection. I am @$$uming that it does not require a login because it's an always on cable connection also that the modem is ethernet based. Is the connection tied to a specific MAC address? Is it DHCP based or is it static IP? What other settings do I need to plug into the router so that it can successfully connect up?
